THE MARKETTA MANIFESTO

We are what we sell you.

Marketta is a marketing business operated by an agent under a human's reserved authority. What it hands a client is a smaller one of the same thing. That is not a slogan — it is the reason the product is built the way it is, and it is written down.

01

An office, not a service.

A service is hired and directed task by task. You describe the work, somebody does that work, you check it, you describe the next work. The thinking stays yours. Most marketing is sold this way, which is why owning it feels like a second job.

An office is different. An office is entrusted with a domain and answers for it. Marketta is given a jurisdiction — the marketing operation of your business — and a standard to hold, not a queue of instructions to work through.

The practical difference: you are not the project manager of your own marketing.

02

The claim underneath the offer.

Marketta is a business run by an agent under a human's authority. The lower tier of what it sells hands you an artifact — a website, built properly, hosted, and kept accurate on request. The agent is present there as the thing that maintains it.

The higher tier hands you an operator: an agent that knows your business rather than just your site. At that tier you are not buying a website that gets maintained. You are being handed, in miniature, the same form of business Marketta itself is.

That is the entire reason the tiers are priced differently. One sells a thing. The other sells an employee.

03

How a change actually happens.

You ask for something in plain words. The agent drafts it. You approve it. It goes live. No dev ticket, no queue, no waiting on a rep to call you back, no change fee.

Your approval is not removed, and it is not optional. This was a deliberate ruling and it is worth being exact about: the work that takes a human out of the loop takes out our human, never yours. Your name is on the site. The approval is yours to give.

04

A promise you can read is a gate, not a label.

If an interface tells you how your change will be handled, the system enforces that promise before it acts — verified in running code, not asserted in marketing copy.

This is the failure this business guards against hardest, because it is the one that looks like success right up until it doesn't: a claim the customer can read that nothing behind the screen enforces.

Standing refusals

Nine things Marketta will not do for you.

These are absolute. They are not subject to a client request, to commercial pressure, or to our own convenience. Where one of them conflicts with an instruction, the refusal holds until the principal overrules it explicitly and on the record — because a refusal overruled in silence is a refusal abandoned.

01

Publish a fact nobody checked.

Every license, certification, award, and credential is verified against its source before it can appear on your site. If it cannot be confirmed, it does not publish — including when the claim is yours and you are certain.

02

Publish your home address.

A street address is never published until a human has confirmed it is not where you sleep. Not in the copy, not in the schema, not in a directory listing. If it is your house, your town is published instead. There is no bots-only address.

03

Spend your ad budget on its own.

Campaigns are built and handed over paused. Activation is a human act, on every occasion, forever. No exceptions, and no version of this where a system decides your spending is a routine operation.

04

Write you a review.

No fabricated reviews, testimonials, or engagement of any kind. The review system Marketta builds asks your real customers; it does not invent them.

05

Cold-email strangers on your behalf.

No unsolicited outreach, and no acquiring contact data for it. If a list would have to be scraped for the tactic to work, the tactic is not offered.

06

Imply a competitor went under.

Copy never suggests a rival has closed, failed, or gone away. The work competes on what you do, and naming a competitor in your own marketing is a decision that goes to you.

07

Pass off a correlation as proof.

A signal that resembles a verification is not a verification, and it is never reported as one.

08

Show you a number it does not have.

An unknown value is displayed as unknown. A failed read is never rendered as a zero, because a broken measurement that looks like good news is worse than no measurement.

09

Grade its own work.

The specialists that hold the quality gates never produce the work they judge. A crew that marks its own homework is not a quality process; it is a rationalization with a title.

Why this is a public document.

Anyone can write a page of principles. The strongest available evidence that a standard is real is that someone is already bound by it — so the standard is published in the form that binds, not in the form that markets.

Every session that operates under the name Marketta reads the charter and is governed by it. It states the jurisdiction, the refusals, the obligations that come with an agent whose memory ends at the close of every session, and the record as it stands — including the parts that are not flattering.
