How does getting started work?

You tell us about your business. We scope the build with you and walk you through it — no jargon, no discovery-call runaround. It is $3,000 to build, and your first month of service is included. When it is ready you review it, we hand it over on your own domain and your own Vercel project, and from then on you tell the agent what you want changed in plain English.

What is the $3,000 for?

Do I get a say before it goes live?

Yes. You are looped in as it is built, and nothing goes live on your domain until you have reviewed it and said go. After launch, changes never stop: you tell the agent what you want, it drafts it, you approve it, and it publishes to your live site — no rebuild, no deploy, no change fee.

Do I own the site?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your site lives in your own Vercel project. Your domain stays yours. If you cancel the monthly plan and want to move the site, you can. Marketta manages the site under the monthly plan; Marketta does not own it.

Question 6

What changes are included every month?

Accepted Answer

Changes come in two sizes. Quick edits are uncounted — hours, a phone number, wording, swapping a photo, a price, as many as you need. Substantial changes are counted: a new page, a new service, a new service-area town — work that needs a human eye because it can touch your nav, sitemap, schema, and internal links. Lite includes 5 substantial changes a month, Standard includes 10. If you are ever unsure which a request is, ask before the work starts and we will tell you.

Question 7

What's the difference between Lite and Standard?

Lite keeps your site right. Standard gives you an employee. On both, you get the website hosted and kept current, your lead inbox, the portal, the monthly report, and the same change loop — you ask, the agent drafts it, you approve it, and it publishes. Standard adds a business-aware agent of your own that knows your business, the full AI toolkit — review responder, social, email, ad copy, blog, FAQ, images — a real person on call, and twice the substantial-change allowance. That agent is the whole reason Standard exists: Lite is the artifact, Standard is an operator for your marketing.

Who handles my changes?

The agent does. You ask for a change in plain English, it drafts it, you approve it, and it goes live — no dev queue, no ticket, no waiting on a rep to call you back. Nothing publishes that you have not approved; that is the rule on both tiers. On Standard, a real person is also on call for the asks that need judgment rather than execution.

Question 9

Is the Marketta Hub live?

Yes. The Marketta Hub is the live portal where you manage your site after it goes live. You log in and request a site adjustment in plain language — updated copy, a new photo, a seasonal offer, an added service — and it's handled. It is how the monthly plan works in practice: log in, request a change, get it done. Your Hub opens once your site is live and your plan is active.

Question 10

What if I have no website at all?

Accepted Answer

That works. The pipeline has run on businesses whose only web presence was a Facebook page. If you have a Facebook page with photos and posts, the run starts from there — your photos are ingested, your posts are read, and everything downstream uses what you already have.

Question 11

What if my photos are not great?

Accepted Answer

The pipeline builds the best site possible from whatever you have. If you have real job photos, we use them. If you have limited photos, we work with what is there. AI-generated imagery can fill gaps, but real job photos produce better results — both for the site's look and for Google's assessment of its authenticity.

Question 12

How do you handle license and certification claims?

Accepted Answer

Every license number, certification, and award claim goes through a verification step before it publishes anywhere on your site. Each one is tracked in a ledger. If a claim is uncertain — for example, if a license shows as expired in a public directory but the owner confirms it is active — the claim is gated until it is resolved. Nothing ships with a pending credential claim. This has caught real errors on real runs: a directory listing a license as expired when it was actually current, a certification tier claimed on an existing site that didn't match the manufacturer's own records. Those catches happened before the corrected version published anywhere.

Does Marketta run paid ads?

Advertising campaigns are built as part of the pipeline — keyword lists, ad copy, audience targeting, campaign structure. They are delivered in draft and paused state. No spend activates without your explicit sign-off. If you never want to run ads, the campaign assets are yours to have or ignore.

Can a marketing consultant or agency use Marketta as a production backend?

What verticals does this work for?

Accepted Answer

Marketta has industry playbooks for home services (contractors, HVAC, plumbers, landscapers, electricians), restaurants, dental practices, salons and spas, law firms, med-spas and aesthetics, veterinary practices, auto repair, and music artists and bands. Each playbook carries the right page set, schema types, citation directories, and content pillars for that industry. Real pipeline runs to date are concentrated in home services. If your business is in another category, reach out — the pipeline may still fit your situation.

Will my business show up in ChatGPT and AI search?

That is now a scored part of every run. Research checks your AI Answer Visibility — whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews mention you when someone asks the question you answer — and it becomes one of the nine sub-scores in your Marketing Health Score. The build then works to earn those citations: a clean entity graph, speakable and FAQ schema, an llms.txt file, and content written so an AI engine can pull a direct answer and attribute it to you. If getting cited in AI search is the only thing you care about, it can also run as a focused engagement on its own — and the same visibility check is recorded before the work starts and after it ships, so you can see what moved.

Question 17

I don't need a whole new site — can you fix just one thing?

Yes. The full build is the default, but the same crew re-sequences around a single objective when that is all you need. Common focused runs: getting cited in AI search (above); reputation recovery for a business whose reviews are in trouble; competitor displacement when one specific competitor is outranking you; a rebrand on a working business; a grand-opening push for a new location; or a seasonal campaign on a site we already built. Tell us the one thing you need when you get in touch, and it gets scoped and priced to the work.

How is this different from a website builder like Wix or Squarespace?

A website builder gives you a template and a blank canvas. You write the copy, you choose the colors, you figure out the SEO, you build the location pages, you set up the Google Business Profile, you figure out the review system. If you do all of that well, you end up with a decent site. Marketta runs the research first, builds the brand second, and delivers a finished presence — SEO, content, GBP package, social assets, and email setup — built from your business rather than a template. Then it hands you an agent that keeps the whole thing current, so it never drifts back into neglect.
